Welcome to Tom Foley Photography, Amateur Truck Photography based in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.
My passion for trucks goes back to my early childhood, I have some amazing memories riding around North Yorkshire a Volvo FL10 Tipper Truck operated by Longthornes Of Hebden (Now Longthorne Bros) and in later years all around the UK as a passenger involved with Livestock Haulage for Longthorne Bros.
After I moved to Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire my Truck Photography really started, I purchased a point and shoot digital camera to start with all I really took photos of was Stevens of Wick and Whitelink Seafoods of Fraserburgh, two of my favourite fleets as they mostly ran Scania V8's, but gradually I started taking photos of other trucks I would see travelling to and from work or out for an evening walk. Before I knew it I was getting photos published in Truck & Drivers Picture Post or Transport News's Truck Scene Scotland, and even manufacturers using them on adverts.
I now use a Canon EOS 90D DSLR camera and travel all over Scotland taking photographs and currently have a collection of over 9000, but this site will be constantly being updated with my latest photos.
I cannot thank the Drivers of these trucks enough for actually letting me take the photos, and helping me when possible to get the photo I want, without you none of this would be possible.
